Aftermath Miniatures was created in 2001 by myself Lee Lowe starting of painting and selling miniatures on Ebay.
Things went better then I thought and within no time I had built up a strong customer base all over the globe. I have been very lucky in being able to paint for some great companies and interesting collectors.
In 2005 I started a wargames club with some friends in Norwich and the club now has over thirty members. It's more then just a wargames club though; we hold our ever popular annual wargames show and painting competition wit the promise of working alongside others in the area in creating something larger. More importantly is our work with local charities and the chance of fundraising for them.
In 2006 I was asked by Wargames Journal to write some painting articles for them to which I jumped at the chance. After aprox 6 months and some staff reshuffling I was offered the position of Hobby Editor to which I accepted and now have the opportunity of working alongside a great team.
Now I continue painting for collectors, companies and my writing for the magazine with the occasional few hours to work on my own project. I like going to shows and conventions and have meet many nice people at such places. If you see me walking along in a day dream please fell free to come over and wake me up, Im always up for a chat and a coffee, especially if youre buying ; )
Thank you for showing interest in Aftermath Miniatures
